Preface

This is a reader on accounting information systems and related analytics. In this reader, I use examples, stories, metaphors and applications to introduce the topic of accounting information systems and related analytics. This booklet accompanies three relevant books: Data management: Databases and analytics (Watson 2023) - open access, Audit Analytics - Data Science for the Accounting Profession (Westland 2020) - access via the university library, and Storytelling with data (Knaflic Nussbaumer 2015) - access via the university library.
